Whether you’re new to the game or a seasoned player, our social format offers a fun, friendly way to stay active and connect with others.

Join casually and pay per session or become a member to enjoy unlimited social badminton, plus full access to programs and services across all Mornington Peninsula Shire Active venues. It’s flexibility, value and community—served fresh every week.

Somerville Recreation Centre

Enjoy badminton in a social environment or at a competitive level at Somerville Recreation Centre. Courts and equipment are available for hire for training, school groups and organisations. Up to 16 badminton courts are available for hire.  Casual walk-in use of courts is available, dependent on our court availability.

  • Social Badminton is held on Tuesday nights 7:30pm – 9:30pm.
  • Ladies Social Badminton is held on Wednesday mornings 9:30am – 12pm.
  • Competition Badminton is held on Tuesday nights 7:30pm – 10pm.

Casual entry fees and racquet hire are available upon request.

Civic Reserve Recreation Centre

Up to 8 badminton courts are available for hire. Casual walk-in use of courts is available, dependent on our court availability.
