Children’s Week

Get ready for a week of fun, adventure and fantastic prizes as we celebrate Children’s Week at Mornington Peninsula Shire Active! From inflatable water fun and Halloween dress-ups to exciting daily prize draws and a free junior pickleball session, there’s something for every child to enjoy.

Bring the kids along for an afternoon packed with Halloween-themed fun and family activities!

What’s on:

  • Dress up in your favourite Halloween costume
  • Free BBQ from 12:00pm
  • WIBIT inflatable obstacle course from 1:00pm to 3:00pm (no bookings required)
  • Halloween colouring competition in the birthday party room throughout the day

Whether your little ones love dressing up, getting creative or splashing around, this is the perfect way to celebrate Children’s Week with the family.

Pelican Park Recreation Centre

Swim, play and win during Children’s Week at Pelican Park!
Every child attending a GOswim lesson or visiting as a casual swimmer will receive one entry into the daily prize draw. With a new winner selected each day, there are plenty of chances to take home an exciting prize.

Prizes include:

  • Book vouchers
  • Swimwear
  • And more!

Daily prizes are valued at $50 each.

Free Junior Come & Try Pickleball

Sunday 1 November at Civic Reserve Recreation Centre

Looking for a new sport to try? Join us for a fun and free junior pickleball session that’s perfect for beginners and young players of all skill levels.
Bookings are essential and can be made via Active World under “Pickleball – Junior”.
Come along, learn the basics, make new friends and discover why pickleball is one of Australia’s fastest-growing sports
