Car Park Safety: A Shared Responsibility

The safety of our members, visitors and staff extends beyond our facilities and begins the moment you arrive.

We kindly ask everyone using our car parks to take extra care by following the speed limits, remaining alert for pedestrians and slowing down when approaching pedestrian crossings. With people of all ages visiting our venues throughout the day, a few extra moments of caution can make a big difference.

For Drivers:
-Speed limit: Maximum 10 km/h
-Stay alert: Watch for pedestrians, especially children
-Park properly: Large vehicles must not overhang walkways
-Use designated spaces: Respect disability parking
-Avoid problem spots: No parking opposite solid white lines or within 10m of intersections
-Respect neighbours: Do not block driveways
-Peak hours: Arrive early to allow time for parking

For Pedestrians:
-Use walkways whenever possible
-Stay aware and look for:
-Reverse lights turning on
-Exhaust fumes from running vehicles
-Drivers about to exit their cars
-Avoid using mobile phones while walking
-Make eye contact with drivers before crossing
-Wait until cars fully stop before stepping onto crossings
-Keep children within arm’s reach of an adult

Our car parks can become busy during peak periods, so we appreciate your patience and consideration when entering, exiting and moving around the site.

Thank you for helping us create a safe and welcoming environment for everyone.
